Please email submissions to opirgtoinfoshop@riseup.net according to the following guidelines:
- Attach your submission as a file if it is smaller than 15 MB, or upload to a file-hosting service and include a link if it exceeds that.
- We encourage .txt files for prose submissions, unless you have a specific reason for an alternative format.
- Multiple submissions are allowed. Each attached file counts as one submission, unless otherwise noted in the body of the email.
- Submit answers to the following in the body of the email:
- Link to your submission (if file size exceeds 15 MB):
- How you want to be credited:
- Editing option (see below):
- Formatting instructions (if applicable):
- Anything else we should know:
Editing options (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
- Option 1: No feedback. We will either accept or reject your submission as-is.
- Option 2: Medium feedback. The editorial collective will provide broad feedback by annotating and highlighting sections of your submission using a simple colour-coded (or greyscale) system: green for sections we are particularly excited to publish, yellow for sections we are reluctant to publish, and red for sections we refuse to publish. Expected editing rounds: 1-2.
- Option 3: Engaged feedback. We will leave detailed comments, annotations, and grammar and spelling suggestions. Expected editing rounds: flexible.
You can change feedback options during the editorial process, including after you’ve received feedback. However, you can only go from a more engaged editing option to a less engaged one (e.g. Option 3 → Option 1 or 2), and not the other way around.
